Mulders Big Move

Hey There Everyone,

"Miss me?"

You may have noticed Mulder and I haven't posted anything in quite a while. The reason for that is because we moved!

Getting donations ready to go to Mama Gail for Puggerfest before we leave.

Mulder and I now reside in North Carolina for a short while, before we move back home to the Berkshires again at the beginning of next year. We took a 16 hour journey across the Southern United States to live on the East Coast again!

Mulder was all ready to hit the road!

I am happy to report that he was a PERFECT little man the entire length of our journey. He mostly slept in the middle seat of the moving truck and only woke up to chew his chewie or when it was time for him to walk around outside and go potty.

Training Progress at 24 Weeks

Hey everyone!


Mulder is still feeling great after his neuter and he told me he wanted to show everyone how great he is doing on his training. He has learned a couple of new tricks and is performing the older ones solidly.

The next tasks I plan on teaching him are jumping through a hoop, bowing, dropping and picking up objects and spinning whilst standing up.


I am still trying to be cautious with him since he was neutered only a short time ago. Not that he cares or anything, he still is running around like a mad man! No worries though, I am constantly monitoring his surgical site and it is looking clean, healthy and healing. The vet did a wonderful job at making a small incision, which I wholly appreciate. I wonder if it was because I acted like a neurotic mother when I dropped him off.... ?!

Mulder had a big day at the doctors today... he was neutered!

Everything went well and he is home resting with me now. He wanted to take a picture to show everyone he is still handsome even without his two "boys"!!

Mulder At Work

Today is "National Bring Your Dog To Work Day", but I am fortunate enough to bring Mulder to work everyday!

Happy Early Birthday to My MeMe

Hey guys, Mulder here-

If you didn't know, I have two older Lab sisters named Sadie and Paris! Tomorrow is a big day... Paris (or MeMe) is turning 10! 

Paris is such a fun, gentle dog and she loves to play!

She sometimes acts like she is my age which can be really funny! 

I will sit down next to her and chew my chewie just so she can tell me stories about her life. 10 years is a long time... I'm not even 10 months old yet! 

One of her most favorite things in the world besides our momma is her big, blue chair. It is literally HER own chair; She sleeps in it whenever she pleases.

Hopefully one day I will grow up to be as wise and lively as Paris when I am 10 years old!

11 Weeks and Easter Happiness

Mulder had a special day today! He turned 11 weeks old AND celebrated his first Easter!

The "Easter Bunny" left a lovely assortment of goodies to commemorate the occasion.

Mulder says that he isn't allowed on the table so why is the Easter Bunny? "At least he left me presents!"

 

 

 

 

I'm sorry I haven't been active on here lately, Mulder has been keeping me on my toes! He is quite an adventurous and tireless little man!

Welcome Home Mulder!

Mulder Has Arrived! 

After a long trip yesterday up to Oklahoma, I met with the wonderful director of Homeward Bound Pug Rescue and Adoption of Oklahoma and picked up my baby boy. I would say it was love at first sight, but I have truly always loved him since he is a part of my soul!

Here is a video of me meeting him for the first time. 
Keep in mind that I NEVER cry... only when my dreams come true!

Hello Friends!

In less than 10 days he will be snuggled up in my arms! As you can imagine, I am bursting at the seams with excitement! He is already prepped to be the most spoiled Pug you will ever see... as evident by the mounds of doggy items in my house.

I WANT TO BELIEVE

Hello Everyone! 

It is unbelievable to think I will finally be bringing home my little pug in a few weeks! The journey to find my "Puggy Soulmate" has led me to Homeward Bound Pug Rescue and Adoption of Oklahoma where "Mulder" is currently being fostered in loving hands.

For nearly five years now (it truly doesn't seem that long), I have lived in Texas and have been working extensively with DFW Pug Rescue to provide donations and volunteer service for Pugs in need. However, I fell in love with the breed long before I began volunteering! Growing up in Upstate New York, my Grandmother held big, festive Easter parties of which a particular guest brought along their fawn, male pug one year. As a little girl, I was more interested in walking the pug around her yard instead of socializing with guests and eating Easter treats!

My plan is to use this blog to record the adventures of little Mulder's life and the happiness he will bring into my life.
